Well it is now 10:45 pm according to my watch and I have just emailed a 14 page document (cut and paste INTO the email NOT an attachmnet) to my professor Dr. V. Shah (Miranda you should know him). I took this class, Principles of Management, as an ADS course, which means I don't have to go to an actual class EVERY week, only on certain days (5 meetings) during the semester. However, where MOST ADS classes are fairly simple, read the text, take a few online quizzes and come take the big tests, Dr. Shah insists that you answer at least 10 questions per chapter, do at least 1 case study, 2 to 3 internet assignments on an organization (mine is McDonald's) AND read 4 aticles for Fortune magazine in 4 different sections (economy, technology, information and corporate) and write a 1 page paper on them. I am doing MORE work that if I had taken this as a regular class. He insists that we put everything in a Word document and then cut and paste the ENTIRE assignment (all of the items above) INTO the email... the words anal-retentive comes to mind... seems he caught a virus from opening a homework attachment a few years ago so this is how he wants the homework sent.... now you LOSE 5 points if the email is not neat and organized... so I had to go through the email and clean it up because we ALL know that cut and paste into email is NEVER neat... did I mention the words ANAL-RETENTIVE....
Anyway because I was doing this Nitamaru missed Prime-Time with Anlah'Shok... this is the time that all the guildies get together and go raid the Planes or give the gods headaches....in fact Nitamaru hasn't been online very much at all this week because I've been doing homework for JUST this one class.... (bet you don't miss college at all hmmm Miranda).... I have 2 weeks before the next assignment is due however I have to go to class this coming Thursday to take the BIG test.... I WILL survive this class even if it kills the teacher....

Just testing to see if this works.... Evercrack
Ok... so Miranda is pestering me to post so I'll post.... Nitamaru's life is going well in the Land of Evercrack... she was invited on a planar raid to take out the Magnetic Behemoth but was dumped before the raid could start because she's on 53 and they wanted 62 and higher... well the guild leader was NOT happy since I.. a member of the guild...was dumped in favor of a non-guild person.... needless to say the raid leader will not be leading any raids in the near future...
In RL news... I've been quite busy with homework... according to the college I should spend 2 hours per credit hour outside of class studying for 100 and 200 level classes and 3 hours per credit hour for 300 and 400 level courses... well I have 1 100 level course and 3 300 level courses.... so... adding it all together.. both time in and outside of class I should be spending 45 hours a week just on school... I guess it's a good thing I DON'T have a job (not counting Jassie that is) otherwise I would be saying "Sleep? What's that?"
My mate went in to work this morning at 8 am and I picked him up at 10 pm tonight... seems a server went down and he had to fix it... so he's taking Friday off... this means he'll get to come with me when I take Jassie down to her grandparent's house... of course I had made plans that HE didn't need to know about but now he'll probably find out...... try to do something nice....
One more rant and I'll close for the night... I live in income based apratments... well since my mate is making such good money at his temp job we have been paying the full rent.... we also have to pay our own electric... well Tuesday the maintenance people were in the apartment to check the smoke detectors and change the furnace filters (mind you they did this the first week of October as well) and they left my upstairs light on... now this might not seem to be a BIG thing... but the light was on for 4 hours... and since I'm not getting a utility allowance *I* have to pay for that light being on... so when I go in next week to pay the FULL rent I think I'll mention that I would REALLY appreciate it if the mainteance people would turn off anything they turn on... that I hardly think it is fair that I pay for something that *I* didn't use... and if they REALLY want to get fussy with me... I can sue them for breach of contract... in our lease it states that the maintenance people will leave a note EVERY time they are in the apartment stating that they were there and what they did.... to date they have NEVER left a note of ANY kind but they have left a few messes for me to clean up... such as the time they sawed a hole in my upstairs ceiling and left the dust all over my steps... and when I came home and my door was unlocked.... so I don't think they want to push me too much.......
Now I shall leave you with some words of wisdom from Nitamaru:

Ok... so the Hawks of War are no more... they have ceased to exist and once again Nitamaru is guildless.... she still maintains contact with a few of the guild members and even hunts with them (barbarains ick) then she gets a magic message on the wind to return to the Plane of Knowledge.... there she is invited to join Anlah'Shok... KNOWING that her lifelong enemy Ariannia (cursed barbarian ick) is also a member of this guild... she joins... it seems that there are those within the ranks of this guild who know of and wish to help with Nitamaru's mission to reunite her long dead Master's body and soul and return him to the living once again... to do this she needs the help of a paladin (stupid do gooder) so she sets about charming all within the guild with her cutting wit and clever humor.... (think Raven from Teen Titans on a manic)..
Not too long after she joins she is contacted by a ranger whose services she retained (and at a pretty plat let me tell you) it seems he was a bit annoyed with Nitamaru for joining this guild... seemd to feel that she had betrayed him and proceeded to bash her, her goals, her intelligence... etc... she pointed out that her coin was still coin and since THAT was his God he should not care what she did and with who... he then left the parting comment "You can no longer afford me." and vanished into the night.
So here's the real life deal... the Hawks disbanded because the founder wasn't happy that no one wanted to play with him... his main character (Sconn) joined a different guild and he disbanded ours...my mate has been in Anlah'shok for some time with his sister and her boyfriend... they had all been wanting me to join so I did... well the "ranger" was an alt of Sconn and wasn't happy that I joined another guild... I'm still not clear on why but I think it has to do with a power trip he goes on thinking that I was HIS to order around.... in any event the last contact I have had with this guy was his ranger who verbally attacked my character... though I think HE was more into the RL of it that I was...all I have to say to him is IT'S A GAME FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!!! GET A FEAKING LIFE!!!!
Anyway now that that is over... I've been having LOTS of fun with Anlah'shok... they go lots of places and do lots of things there is ALWAYS someone on so that means there is ALWAYS somone to hunt with.... I can still play Nita as dark and evil but then I claim that she's "not evil, just misunderstood" of course I think I really sealed Nita's place with the guild with the comment "Evil is in the eye of the beholder... I think it is the 3rd one from the left." Once the LOLs ceased spamming my screen they decided that I wasn't half bad (sic) and have embraced Nita with open arms (leaving clear access to the heart area or the back... wherever she decides the dagger should go) as for Mr. "If you don't play with me I'll pout" he's more than welcome to run with us and see what a REAL guild is like....

Hey Miranda! I just noticed that my blog is different...have you been pulling some sort of spy type conspiracy thingy?????
Well since I haven't posted in a while I thought I should or they might cancel me... life has returned to some semblence of normalcy after the holidays... however my mate had to have some minor surgery to his "plumbing" and has had to have a cath in for 2 weeks.... that comes out this Friday THEN maybe things will get back to normal... no... wait... college starts next MONDAY... (sigh) it seems that the break between semesters just flew by.... and of course I'll be taking classes in the summer so no long breaks for me...
Jassie's sleeping habits are slowly changing back to her old schedule... when she was sick she slept when she wanted to... babies need a schedule or they aren't happy... and neither are mommy and daddy.... believe me having only 16 hours of sleep in a 4 day period is rough... both on the physical and the emotional...
That's pretty much been it for the past week or so... I'm sure that when I've had a chance to think, I'll find a few new rants....
